Story progress (Spoilers for 5.6 Archon Quest)

I finished the Interlude today! And just as I expected, it did not disappoint! The loading times definitely made it feel a little clunky (PS4 things...), but I had so much fun defending Mondstadt and seeing every single character show up along the way! My only complaint is that I think Genshin has pulled the "it was all a set-up we all knew about except you and maybe some others" card way too many times, to the point it just seems like it's reducing the stakes to nothing. However, the Durin bit was insane — I thought the cutscene would be of Albedo actually going berserk and destroying the city (which is what I assume they tried to make everyone believe,) but finding out it was actually for the new Durin's creation was just... Wow... I loved it. I should really read the latest Simulanka event, seeing as the game didn't offer any sort of explanation blurb for him that I remember... Again, all in all, it was really good. About time we saw Albedo during the archon quest!

I also started the event since I had nothing else to do, and what a surprise is it to see Natlan characters outside of their nation! I didn't want to get spoilered too much, but it seems like this time Kinich will finally get the spotlight somewhere beyond his anecdote, which I'm very excited for!

Exploration progress

Like I said before, the event started today, so I was also caught up doing that after playing the AQ! I was expecting the whole park management thing to be a bit more annoying, but it was surprisingly very engaging! Some minigames were a little frustrating, but beyond that, I like it! I just hope I don't fumble it in the following days...

Wishing progress

I should have around 140 wishes now! I'm honestly in a bit of a dilemma right now: we still don't know anything about 5.7's banners in regards to re-runs, but if they decide to re-run Albedo —which wouldn't 100% surprise me, since Paralogism was all about him—, I... honestly don't know if I should for Kokomi or save it up for him. Both will get extremely infrequent re-runs, so it feels like I can only choose one until next year or so, lol... Again, this is all my conjecture, but if it does happen, I don't know what to do... Right now, I'd save for Albedo because I like him more, but I will definitely regret not getting Kokomi... Oh, well. First of all, I have to actually get a guarantee, and then I can decide.

I didn't realize it at first, but I'm so close to 100 Genshin logs! Once again, I don't play as much as I did at the end of last year, and my blog activity is becoming more and more sporadic as time goes on, but I really want to keep writing here. I've been feeling a bit tired mentally this week, but the good news is that I think I've finally recovered from whatever sickness had been bugging me last month! Yay! Now I just have to make it through one more month of the semester, then I'll be free during summer vacation. I might make a huge post about it when the time comes, but my partner is going to be staying at my home for a week in July, and I can't wait!
